RCMP ask assistance in locating missing American

The Milk River RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating an overdue male traveller.

Jackie Dean Caldwell, 74, departed from his home in Mount Juliet, Tennessee on (Tuesday) August 12.

Known as Jack, Caldwell was en route to Fairbanks, Alaska driving a Black 1997 Goldwing tri-wheel motorcycle with Tennessee license plate ZB0984.

The bike has a distinguishing decal on the back, of a Greyhound  bus dog logo.

Caldwell, towing a black “Bushteck” trailer unknown Tennessee license plate, is wearing a white helmet and is described as a Caucasian male, 6’2″ tall, short grey hair, blue eyes, 180 pounds, clean cut, wearing glasses.

Caldwell was last seen entering Canada at the Coutts, Alberta Border Crossing on (Saturday) August 16.The Coutts crossing is the point of entry into Canada from Montana and is one of the busiest ports of entry along the Canada/US Border.

Caldwell is normally in contact with his family but they have not heard from him since.

Milk River is 70 kilometres south of Lethbridge, and 16 kilometres from the Canada-U.S. border.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Caldwell is asked to contact the Milk River RCMP Detachment at (403) 647-3955 or contact Crimestoppers at 1-888-222-TIPS.

A reward may be offered for information leading to the whereabouts of this individual.
