Police seek public assistance after early-morning robbery Friday

On May 6 at 4:27 a.m., Castlegar RCMP responded to a robbery at a business on 6th Avenue in Castlegar.  Two male suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash from an employee leaving work.  The victim was not injured during the robbery.  The investigation is ongoing and further details relating to the incident are not being released at this time. 

 

Police believe the two male suspects drove away in a white 90s model Ford Explorer with a dark fender flares and a dark roof rack.  The vehicle is believed to have travelled eastbound on Highway 3 from the uptown area.
