Police consider charges after attending fight Wednesday on Front Street in Nelson

Nelson Police is considering charges after two people were arrested for fighting in the 600 Block of Front Street in Nelson Wednesday afternoon.
Nelson Police Department dispatch received a 9-1-1 call of a fight in progress.
At the same time a member of the RCMP, driving west on Front Street near Strutters Styles, also reported the fight in progress and assisted the two NPD members attending the scene.
A female allegedly attacked a youth, which started the fight.
The two combatants were arrested before being taken to NPD cells.
Nelson Police are considering charges of Causing a Disturbance and Assault.
No one was injured during the altercation.
Both combatants are known to police.
