NPD looking for public assistance after man taken to hospital

Nelson Police is looking for public assistance after a man was found injured in the Heritage City Thursday.

NPD Sergeant Corey Hoy said police, along with Nelson Fire & Rescue Services and BC Ambulance, attended the 400 Block of Vernon Street for an incident in the evening of Thursday (February 25th) in which a man was found with serious injuries.

Hoy said the man was transported to Kootenay Lake Hospital by EHS for treatment of those injuries.

“At this time, the Nelson Police are requesting any witnesses to this incident to please contact Constable Caldwell at 250-354-3919,” Hoy said.
