No one was injured following a single-vehicle accident late Tuesday morning on Highway 3A a few kilometers west of the South Slocan Highway 3A/6 Junction.

First responders from Tarrys Fire Rescue arrived at the 2600 block of Highway 3A to find the single occupant of the rollover accident out of the vehicle.

Yellowhead Road and Bridge road crew along with BC Ambulance also attended. BC Ambulance was able to assess the driver, who was later released.

Firefighters conducted traffic control while other members cleaned up the oil spill. The vehicle was later towed from the accident scene.

Tarrys Fire Rescue would like to remind the public when travelling in a vehicle that all heavy objects in the vehicle are secured so in the case of a rollover or any accident these objects don’t become an added possible result of injury.
