No injuries reported following multi-vehicle accident in Uphill

Nelson Police said no significant injuries were reported following a multi-vehicle accident Monday afternoon in the Uphill area of the Heritage City.

Police said dispatch received a call at approximately 6:12 p.m. Monday of an accident at the intersection of Stanley and Houston Street.

Police said the investigation revealed that a grey Toyota, travelling westbound on Houston Street, failed to stop for a stop sign at Stanley Street.

The driver of the Toyota “T-boned” a southbound Ford SUV before pushing the vehicle into a parked car.

Police said the driver of the Toyota was issued a violation at the accident scene.
