No to Travel Fund

Armstrong, home to the North Okanagan Knights, has decided not to partake in a travel fund for teams representing the KIJHL in Junior B  tournaments outside the province.

Armstrong council recently defeated a motion by District of 100 Mile House.

The 100 Mile House Wranglers won the KIJHL title before representing the league at the Cyclone Taylor and Keystone Cup Championships — the latter tournament held outside BC.

The motion asked each of the 20 KIJHL communities to donate $500 to the KIJHL travel fund.
