Nelson skaters shine at West Kootenay Invitational Figure Skating Competition

Nelson skaters won a total of three bronze medals during the weekend West Kootenay Invitational Figure Skating Competition this past weekend at the NDCC Arena.
The host club entered a total of 27 skaters in the 44 event schedule weekend and has the largest number of entry level skaters in the STAR 1 event with15 skaters.
Charly Defouw won Bronze in the very competitive STAR 8 Women’s free skate with a dramatic program to the soundtrack of Romeo+Juliet.
