Nelson Mixed Slopitch concludes season with playoff tournament

Let the playoffs begin.
The Nelson Mixed Slopitch League holds its year-end playoff weekend beginning Thursday at the Lakeside Diamonds.
Louies and Unknowns enter the weekend at the early favourite after finishing deadlocked for top spot following the regular season.
The two teams completed the season with identical 11-3-1 records.
Louies finished the season on a six-game win streak while the Unknowns played to an 8-8 tie against the Fighting Ardvarks on the final weekend of action.
The finals in the A, B and C Divisions go Sunday at Lakeside.
