Nelson Minor Hockey cancels year-end banquet until further notice due to COVID 19

Due to the COVID 19 outbreak, Selkirk College Tenth Street Campus has canceled All functions meaning the Nelson Minor Hockey Banquet scheduled for April 2 has been on hold.
“We will be discussing this as board to see what the next steps will be,” said a NMHA Board member Monday. “Please know that the function has been canceled until further notice.”
The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has caused numerous cancelations of large events as public health officials urge people to prohibit all public gatherings of more than 50 people, including indoor and outdoor sporting events, conferences, meetings, religious gatherings and other similar events.
