Nelson Minor Baseball shifts from regular season to allstar campaign

Nelson teams were shutout of the championship winner’s circle in the West Kootenay Little League Baseball League season.
Nelson Cardinals, winners of the West Kootenay Little League Minor Division the two previous years, lost out in the semi finals in the major division.
The Nelson Pirates had two close games but finished their playoff run early.
The Nelson Tigers were down 6-5 before rain cancel out the game.
Tigers pitchers Koa Wintraub along with Brady Stocks and Drake Procter did a great job while Noah Ens controlled behind the plate.
Levi Mint, Mason Ouchi, Carson Van Horne had timely hits and strong base running that lead the tiger offensive attack.
The regular season now shifts to the allstar campaign with tryouts in the U10 Division happening.
