Nelson’s First Responders are joining forces with Nelson Safeway, the Adventure Hotel and WLWP Wealth Planners to help those less fortunate this season with the 12 Days of Giving Christmas Toy/Food Drive.

To participate, the public is being asked to drop off a gift at one of these first responders — Nelson Police Department, Nelson Fire & Rescue Services or Nelson BC Ambulance Station  — to receive a coupon for a free breakfast sandwich at the Adventure Hotel on Sunday, Nov. 28th.

Anyone wanting to make a cash donation — or a $75 Food Basket — to feed a family can visit Nelson Safeway on Anderson Street.

Monetary donations are also being accepted with cash, a new book of unwrapped gift.

On Sunday, November 28th at 10 a.m., the public is welcome to join in on the celebration virtually through the Nelson Fire & Rescue Services Facebook Page or in person in the Adverture Hotel Parking Lot for the Gift and Food Hand Off from the Nelson First Responders to Santa.

Together, through public suppport, the Holidays will be brighter for those in need.
