The Nelson Daily didn’t need to search far for this latest Team of the Week.
This group of local athletes represented the Heritage City at the annual B.C. Senior Games held earlier this month in Campbell River.
The team happy-go-lucky-team includes, back row, L-R, Clint Saunders (track and field), Bruce Lockhart (slopitch), Don Currie, Roger Kerby (badminton), Mike Adams (cycling) and William Kalyniuk (golf). Middle, Blaine Rains (bowling), Rene Forrest (bowling), Linc Vital (bowling), Lorna Hamilton (bowling), Barb Saunders (track and field), Dawn Williams (bowling), Joan Deane (track and field) and Roy Deans (cribbage).
