Minor injuries following two-vehicle accident on Front Street

Traffic was slowed Friday afternoon on Highway 3A in Nelson following a two-vehicle accident at the corner of Cedar and Front Street.
One person was taken to Kootenay Lake Hospital by Emergency Health Services with minor injuries after the two vehicles collided, with a small car hitting the power pole near SK Electronics.
Nelson Police responded to the scene to conduct an investigation as well as Nelson Fire Rescue after one vehicle was reported to be leaking fluids.
Traffic was slowed for more than an hour as tow truck operators removed the two vehicles from the accident scene.
The small car needed to be towed away following the two-vehicle accident Friday.
