Marketfest once again packs in the crowds

This time even Mother Nature attended in a good mood.
Hundreds of people flocked to the west end of Baker Street for July MarketFest.
This MarketFest musical line-up, packed with luminaries such as Adham Shaikh, Cam Penner, Ms. Erica Dee and Rhoneil, combined with vendors to give the public plenty to watch and do.
The West Kootenay EcoSociety, a non-profit organization located in Nelson. operates MarketFest as a project to promote a relocalization of our economy and to create a meeting place for arts, culture and community networking.
