After a very successful fundraising year in 2017, the Nelson Legion Ladies Auxiliary made a stop at the Nelson branch of the Salvation Army to present Major Robin Burrows with a cheque for $1500 to help with the Christmas Drive.

Burrows thanked the Legion Ladies for taking the time to come and collect the donation.

“It was great to get our Legion Auxiliary members involved and for them to hear from you first hand how much it means to the community,” said President Marla Olson.

These ladies work very hard to earn this money and we very much appreciate that the Salvation Army takes these funds and uses them to make Nelson a better place for all.”

“Thanks and Merry Christmas,” Olson added.
