Large field expected to tee it up at Granite Pointe Tournament of Roses
Granite Pointe will be buzzing with activity Tuesday (May 31) as the Heritage City Ladies Club welcomes the top players from the region for the annual Tournament of Roses.
The Tournament of Roses is an 18-hole team affair with players playing with a partner to determine the top winner in Low Net and Low Gross categories.
More than 50 players from Balfour, Riondel, Kokanee Springs, Birchbank, Champion Lakes, Castlegar, Christina Lake, Rossland’s Redstone and Rise Golf in Vernon are expected to attend the first major women’s tournament on the West Kootenay Golf circuit.
The tournament begins at 9:30 a.m. with a shotgun start.
