Kootenay Lake Board Chair announces staffing changes to management team

Kootenay Lake School District announced a few appointments to the management team Wednesday Lenora Trenaman Chair Board of Education said in a media release Wednesday.
Longtime manager Bruce MacLean has been appointed Director of Operations while Janet Wall is the new Manager of Transportation and Custodial Services.
Trenaman said MacLean’s position oversees work primarily located in Nelson whiles Wall handles responsibilites in Creston.
Trenaman said MacLean and Wall are well known to School District No. 8.
MacLean was appointed as the Manager of Operations in 2005 and has provided long term, excellent service to School District No. 8.
MacLean brings history and knowledge of the District, as well as credibility and vision.
Wall was hired as a Bus Driver in 1988 and has serviced the District as Driver, Assistant Transportation Coordinator and Transportation Coordinator, as well as an Acting Manager of Transportation.
Wall brings a commitment to excellence in service delivery in the Transportation Department which will easily extend to the custodial realm.
Trenaman said the Board of Education would like to congratulate both MacLean and Ms. Wall on their new positions, and are confident they will both provide a positive impact on the Operations, Transportation and Custodial departments of School District No. 8 (Kootenay Lake).
