Glacier athletes in the medals at Twisters' Invitational

The Glacier Gym club competitive team took to the road last month scoring a boat load of medals at the Twisters’ Invitational in Abbotsford.

Leading the medal parade was Chultim O’Neill in Ladies P2 Open Division.

O’Neill finished first on vault, beam and floor to capture the gold overall medal in the division.

Right behind O’Neill was Rebecca Benner in second spot.

Benner was second on vault behind her teammate, third on bars and second on beam and floor.

Other Glacier results had:

Alexis Dyck sixth in P1 Argo with a fifth on vault, 10th on bars, silver on beam and 11th on floor; Senna Moroney, 14th overall in P2 Argo with two 14ths on bar and vault and ninth on floor and 13th on beam; and Victoria Lawrence-Jeffery 13 overall in Ladies P2 Tyro with a 12th on vault, 13th on bars, fourth on beam and ninth on floor.

In Ladies P2 Novice Kylee Dyck was eighth overallĀ  with a seventh in vault, 12th on bars, fifth on beam and bronze medals on floor.

In Ladies P3 Novice Ella Keelan was sixth overall with a seventh on vault, 13th on bars, gold on beam and bronze on floor.

Male results had Glacier winning a large number of medals as Noah Daigle, River Murphy and Christopher Lawrence earned the hardware.

In Men’s Level 1, all three athletes earned all-round silver medals.

Daigle had gold in foor, pommel horse, rings, vault and horizontal bar. The only blemish came on parallel bars with a bronze.

Murphy scored gold in foor, vault and pommel horse, silver on rings and bronze on parallel bars while Lawrence-Jeffery registered gold on floor and vault, silver on pommel horse, rings and horizontal bar and bronze on parallel bars.

In Mens Level 3 Oliver McDougall-Eisele finished 21st overall with a 17th on floor, 21st on pommel horse, 21st on vault, 17th on rings, 24th on paralllel bars and 19th on horizontal bars while Quinn Barron was seventh on floor, sixth on pommel horse, 12th on rings, silver on vault and 16th on parallel bars.
