Esks rally past Redblacks to claim 103rd Grey Cup

Playing before the second smallest crowd since 1975, the Edmonton Eskimos rallied from a 13-0 deficit to edge the Ottawa Redblacks 26-20 in the 103rd Grey Cup Sunday night in Winnipeg.
The Grey Cup title was the first for Edmonton since 2005 and 14th in team history. Only the Toronto Argonauts, with 16, have won more Grey Cups.
Jordan Lynch’s one-yard touchdown run with 3:17 remaining sealed the win for the Western Division Champion Edmonton Eskimos.
Lynch successfully converted the third-and-one situation to cap a five-play, 78-yard drive. Quarterback Mike Reilly’s three-yard pass to Akeem Shavers for the two-point convert erased a 20-18 Redblacks lead.
The game-winning drive was aided by Edmonton head coach Chris Jones challenging an incompletion that was ultimately changed to pass interference against Ottawa’s Brandon Sermons.
This was the fourth time the CFL title game was played in Manitoba, and the first since 2006.
