Duke and Duchess of Cambridge land in BC

Premier Christy Clark has issued the following statement to welcome Their Royal Highnesses, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to British Columbia:
“On behalf of all British Columbians, I’m pleased and honoured to welcome Their Royal Highnesses, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to our province, as we share our diverse, urban, rural and remote wilderness regions we proudly call home.
“British Columbia is among the most beautiful places in the world, with scenic landscapes ranging from snow-capped mountain tops to sandy beaches. It is a place that welcomes people from all corners of the world.
“The peoples of B.C. are just as diverse. I am looking forward to introducing The Duke and Duchess to some of the different communities that make this such a great place to live.
“I know The Duke and the Duchess will enjoy their tour and will want to come back soon.”
