Drugs, stolen property seized; Multiple arrests in Railtown
Nelson Police said several individuals were arrested during a blitz in the Railtown District Thursday.
In a media release, police said the arrests came after the department received several complaints in regards increased criminal activity in the Railtown area of Nelson.
“Upon further investigation, police determined that there was illicit drug activity occurring within the area and conducted a search based on the information receive,” the NPD release said.
“Upon searching the area, police located illicit drugs, including suspected methamphetamines and fentanyl, drug paraphernalia, weapons, and stolen property.”
Police said people were arrested at scene and later released with charges pending. Nelson Police said the investigation continues.
