Crowds flock to Green Home & Energy Show

The Fifth Annual Green Home & Energy Show held Wednesday at the Prestige Lakeside Resort in Nelson was another success as crowds flocked to see the latest in energy saving ideas for the home.
The Home & Energy Show featured information on homes, lighting, heat pumps as well as an opportunity to view an electric car and electric bikes.
The annual event, sponsored by the Nelson Hydro’s EcoSave Program and West Kootenay EcoSociety, is held to help the public simplify the process of making your home more energy efficient as well as showcase the latest technology in energy saving ideas said organizer Carmen Proctor, EcoSave Program Manager for the City of Nelson.
