Coroner reports body found near Beasley

The body of a young adult male was found in a wooded area near Beasley at roughly 8 p.m. Wednesday evening, according to BC Coroner spokesperson Barb McLintock.
“Yes, there was a body found that was reported as a Coroner’s case, and we’ve begun a preliminary investigation,” McLintock said.
She said they are not yet releasing the name of the deceased, but they expect to be able to do so in a release this afternoon or tomorrow morning.
She also said the circumstances do not, at this time, appear to be suspicious.
“Everything at the scene revealed no indication of foul play,” she said.
