The L.V. Bombers enacted some revenge on the Falcons from Fernie, edging the East Kootenay squad to recently capture a High School Girls’ Volleyball Tournament.

Bomber coach Jenn Kidd said the squad won six of seven matched en route to the playoff round. The only blemish on the round robin record, that saw LVR post wins over Elkford twice, David Thompson of Invernere and Immaculata of Kelowna, was a loss to Fernie.

In the semi-final, LVR dispatched Prince Charles of Creston before meeting, and defeating, the Falcons in straight sets in the final.

The Bombers next action was the UBCO Tournament in Kelowna.
