Don’t miss the Kootenay School of the Arts at Selkirk College Annual Christmas Exhibit and Sale at the KSA campus next weekend on Dec. 9th and 10th. It’s a chance to see the latest designs and purchase some genuinely unique Christmas gifts.

Exclusive finely handcrafted jewelry by emerging artists, as well as original work from the clay, fibre and metal studios, will be available for the discerning shopper. A portion of the sales will go towards supporting the student’s field trip to the One of a Kind craft show in Toronto next spring.

Student designed and fabricated silver jewelry includes dramatic geometric necklaces and earrings by Tamara Bakker; bold trendy earrings, rings and pendants by Pat Sunduk; and flowing organic shaped earrings and pendants by Faye Agnew. Kate Enewold’s line includes intricate roller printed silver shapes constructed into earrings, pendants and bracelets.

Don’t miss a golden opportunity to give gifts of silver that shimmer and sparkle.

The opening reception is on Friday Dec. 9th from 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm, with the sale and exhibit extending until 9:30 pm. On Saturday, Dec. 10th hours are from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. The KSA campus is located at 606 Victoria Street in Nelson.
