The 15th birthday was much like the 14th or the 13th — simply amazing.

Starbelly Jam 2014 packed in the crowds once again as performers from Tequila Mockingbird Orchestra to Trypta to Nahko and the Medicine People, and BC/DC rocked the crowds during the weekend event in Crawford Bay.

The celebration included entertainment is soulfully eclectic, and this year will include funk,  world music, rock, hip-hop, reggae, blues, bluegrass, folk, jam bands and other acts that are a little harder to define.

There is also entertainment and activities for children making Starbelly Jam, an event that attracts more than 3500 people, which includes 700 kids, 350 volunteers and organizers and 150 performers/presenters, a real family festival.

Shutter bug Louis Bockner had his camera clicking for The Nelson Daily to allow readers a taste of the weekend.
