New boss for NDCC

The Regional District of Central Kootenay (RDCK) announced Monday Marty Benson of Surrey Parks and Rec has been hired a Manager of Recreation for the Nelson and District Community Complex (NDCC).
Benson starts the new position (Monday) September 8.
“Marty will be a valuable addition to the NDCC team and the RDCK,” says Joe Chirico, General Manager of Community Services.
“In addition to his experience, he has great enthusiasm for people and recreation.”
