Brilliant pedestrian bridge closed due to electrical upgrades

The Brilliant pedestrian Bridge will be closed from Wednesday to Friday (April 23-25) from approximately 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. as FortisBC makes safety improvements in the area.
FortisBC is performing aerial construction for safety and equipment upgrades in the Castlegar area. The company does not anticipate any disruption to electrical service.
Signs have been posted at the entrance to the Brilliant Bridge. Also, Highway 3A on the north side of the Brilliant highway bridge will be reduced to single-lane traffic during work hours from Wednesday to Friday (April 23-25).
