'Woodstock: A New Look' book

An inside story of the “Woodstock Music and Arts Faire 1969” and it’s times is being presented with Author Greg Walter narrating his book “Woodstock: A New Look” on Wednesday December 6th at 5:30 p.m. at the Hume Room in the Hume Hotel.

Walter has appeared on NBC’s Dateline (Back to Woodstock) and national radio shows recounting his experiences working for the Festival.

The book is in library systems including Harvard, UC Berkeley, and The David Tipper Collection. “Everything but the smell” said Publishers Weekly in a book review.

Tickets include a personally signed First Edition copy of “Woodstock; A New Look”.

The 142-page large format book recounts Greg’s personal story of the Festival and social environment in which it occurred. It features Greg’s previously unpublished photographs as well as submissions from AP and Henry Diltz.

In addition to the reading and question answer session, the evening will feature a discussion of the counter culture, it’s values, and relevance in today’s world.
