The ride is followed by live music and the draw for the 2015 Harley Davidson Road Glide Special.

This year the Toy Run begins at 8 a.m. in Castlegar with registration.

At 10 a.m., the ride moves onto Nelson to collect toys at Hipperson’s Hardware on 300 Block of Baker Street at approximately 10:45 a.m. Nelson registration is a 9:30 a.m.

At noon the ride meets in Salmo for lunch before heading onto Fruitvale and a stop in downtown Trail in front of Ferraro Foods.

The Toy Run then travels to Rossland before concluding at 3:30 p.m. back in Castlegar at the Rec Complex for awards, great music and dinner and refreshments and the draw for the 2015 Harley Davidson Road Glide Special.

However, to organize an major event like the West Kootenay Toy Run, volunteers are needed to make the day run smooth.

Anyone interested in volunteering with registration at the Bakers Street stop in Nelson Stop or the always important traffic control should contact ASAP toy.run@shaw.ca or contact Geoff at 250-365-2901.

The West Kootenay Toy Run is also seeking a public relations person to bring you info about the Toy Run throughout the year and Area Reps for Nelson, Salmo, Trail, Rossland and a little love for up the Valley.

It’s Your love that keeps the Toy Run Rolling — Without these needed volunteers This event will be impossible to put on.
