The SROAMazing Race raised big bucks for Avalanche Awareness Beyond the Boundaries Society

The SROAMazing Race organized by the Selkirk College Ski Resort Operations & Management Program proved to be another success after the race raised $1000 to go towards the Avalanche Awareness Beyond the Boundaries Society (AABBS).
Teams, dressed in wild costumes, frantically raced through the streets of Nelson Saturday (October 17) looking for clues to the next station with hopes of securing a host of prizes compliments of Whitewater Ski Resort, Big Red Cats, Planks and many other contributors.
A total of 18 teams competed for prizes with the top team taking home four adult ski passes, four avalanche awareness courses and toques from Planks.
