For the past 11 years, S.H.A.R.E. Nelson has supported the poor, disadvantaged and those struggling to make ends meet.

Donations to S.H.A.R.E Nelson have made it possible to provide affordable used furniture and home goods for the community.

S.H.A.R.E has given more than 10,000 dollars’ worth of household goods to those in need, more than 30,000 dollars to Our Daily Bread in 2014 and have kept literally tones of furniture, appliances and building materials out of the landfill. Items that can be recycles are or reused or re-purposed!

In order to show our appreciation for the continuous support of our customers and the Nelson Community, we will be having a free hotdog BBQ at S.H.A.R.E. Nelson on Saturday August 29th between 11 AM and 2 PM. Come visit us, have a bite to eat and browse the store. We want to celebrate our success together.

Profits made by S.H.A.R.E. Nelson are primarily used to support ‘Our Daily Bread’. Nelson’s only hot lunch program, as well as other KCF ministry projects. So far this year, through fundraisers such as the bottle/can drive and the Saturday morning hotdog sales at S.H.A.R.E.  an additional $8.000 has been raised toward the operating costs of ‘Our Daily Bread’.

S.H.A.R.E Nelson operates under the umbrella of Kootenay Christian Fellowship (KCF)
