The Rumble For The Jungle will be a one night, over-the-top wrestling comedy extravaganza.

The night will involve a tournament of fights from all local participants with their own personalized wrestling characters and costumes. Come and watch as they pull out all of their most back-handed moves to win the belt.

There will be local brews served on tap, a dance party with Djs and lots of prize giveaways. This is an inclusive event and we hope to have involvement and attendance from all stretches of our community, however it will be a 19+ event for fake violence, horrible language and men in tights.

The event will take place on Friday January the 17th at the Nelson Rod and Gun Club. Doors at 8 p.m. Tournament starts at 9 p.m.

Advance tickets are available for $20 online at communityascent.com, or in Nelson at the Nelson Boxing Club, Isis Essentials, and the Baker Street Mall Kiosk.

Tickets will be $25 at the door.

The purpose of this event is to raise funds for the Community Ascent Network’s current project in Ecuador. We are working with the rural community of Piñán to help them build a school and create a continuing education program for their youth to graduate.
