The Proctor Village Bakery/Cafe has found its new operators.

Bee Campbell and Rob Jenkins were all smiles while signing the bakery lease on January 28th. The pair look forward to joining the community and breaking bread together in the spring.

Growing up in the area, Bee spent a lot of time in Procter as a kid.  She loves community, people and baking sweets and sourdough.  Bee has spent the last eight years travelling and working in the food industry, always with an emphasis on organics and sustainability and she is excited to bring her energy back to the community she grew up around.

Hailing from a small village in northern England, Rob, grew up surrounded by small farms and artisan food operations.  Rob spent a lot of time cooking for his family while he was growing up. He has experience working as a cook and butcher in northern England and Spain, and has a passion for cooking, brewing and nourishing local community.

Campbell and Jenkins  will be at the Procter Community Society’s AGM  in February and there will be a full bakery update, along with some more really great news.
