Nelson Youth Soccer hosts AGM Monday at Prestige

Nelson Youth Soccer is hosting its annual general meeting Monday at 7 p.m. in the Prestige Inn Lakeside Resort.
Finances and election of board members are just a few of the items on the agenda.
A spokesperson said, in order to keep registration prices affordable and professional coaches available for Nelson Youth Soccer, which is a non-profit organization, depends on BC Gaming Funds Grant.
“To maintain this funding, it is essential to have a strong turn out at our annual meeting,” the spokesperson said.
“Please come out and support NYS after you have completed your civic duty at the voting poles,” the spokesperson added.
“Appies and a complementary drink will be served.”
