Nelson Police Department recently welcomed 14 new members to the Restorative Justice team last month during a a graduation ceremony.

The new members learned how to prepare for a meeting with those involved by doing pre-conference preparation so the circle is a safe and open place for all participants.

During a NPDRJ monthly training meeting with Chief Constable Paul Burkart in attendance, photographer Angelica Duggan managed to capture most of the new team as they look forward to a new year with plenty of facilitation and more of this incredible growth that our program has been experiencing.
