Nelson Downtown Local Market opens June 15

One more week before the West Kootenay EcoSociety reopens Nelson Downtown Local Market for the 2016 season.
The official opening goes Wednesday, June 15th in the 400 block of Baker St. for its seventh year in a row.
The market will run each Wednesday from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm through to September 28th, offering an amazing mix of local produce, plants, prepared foods, body care, and hand-made arts and crafts.
Customers can rest assured that they are supporting the local economy due to the fact that 80 percent of each vendor’s wares must be made locally to be sold at the market.
