Canadian corporations and investors have hidden away at least $199 billion in tax havens around the world, resulting in the loss of up to $10 billion in revenue every year.

That’s money Canada should have to build our economy, health, education, jobs and a clean environment.

A new documentary from Harold Crooks looks into the murky world of tax havens and tax rip offs in Canada and other countries. The film originated in Quebec and is now showing across the country. See more at www.thepricewepay.ca

The Nelson Chapter of Council of Canadians is showing the film at 7 p.m. Tuesday, January 19th at the Nelson Seniors Branch 51, 717 Vernon St.

Following the documentary we will have a discussion AND take immediate action on the huge theft from Canadians.

Everyone is welcome for a small donation.

The Nelson Seniors Branch 51 is located at 717 Vernon Street next to Civic Theatre.
