Local Sea Cadets claim bronze at BC Games

Two Sea Cadet from Nelson won the bronze medal in the female 420 class at the recent BC Summer Games in Nanaimo.
Skipper, Katelyn Ellis and Dasha Russell (far right on podium) attended the BC Summer Games compeition after graduating recently from the Intermediate Sail Course at HMCS QUADRA in Comox.
The cadet program is completely free and has provided these youth thousands of dollars of training all at no cost.
