The Nelson Lion’s Club is once again going to make getting rid of the trees a little easier for residents by hosting its annual Christmas Tree Pickup Fundraiser in the Heritage City.

Pick up date is Saturday, January 9, 2021 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Lion’s Club volunteers are asking residents to leave trees at the end of driveways by 9 a.m.

“Include $5 in an envelope attached to the tree, and (Lion’s Club) will take care of everything else,” the Nelson Lions Club said.

“All funds raised are returned to the community.”

Any pickup truck owners wanting to volunteer should contact the Lion’s Club at contact@nelsonlions.ca

“All trees are ground up and composted . . . nothing is thrown away,” said the Nelson Lion’s Club.
