Nelson Learning in Retirement (LiR) resumes weekly Friday sessions and courses starting with a Meet and Greet program for all past and new members Friday, September 7 at 10 a.m. in Room 16 on the Selkirk College Silver King campus.

Members of the 2018/19 Board will be introduced and instructors of 32 courses being offered this fall, in collaboration with Selkirk College Community Education, will talk about everything from astrology, humour, history, finances, the game of bridge, health, pickleball and snooker, to singing, painting, book binding, stretching, traveling and writing.

At the end of term last spring LiR was comprised of 352 members; this year will mark the 10th Anniversary celebration of the founding of Nelson LiR by four dedicated and passionate elders wanting to ensure the lifelong learning of seniors and the recognition of their value to this community. Please join us. selkirk.ca/ce/courses/learning-retirement
