The Kootenay Coldsmoke Powderfest is back for its eighth time at Whitewater Ski Resort.
The Kootenay Coldsmoke Powder Fest is a grass-roots gathering intended to share and celebrate the culture of snow play amongst breathtaking scenery and world renowned snow.
The Festival has a wide appeal to mountain enthusiasts of all levels and across ages and disciplines. Whether locked down, goofy, free-heeled, taking lifts , earning turns, beginner or expert – we share in one common love for the mountains and the potential they hold for us.
The festival revolves around several days of clinics, competitions, events and celebrations of all ski/snowboard pursuits.
Placed perfectly at Whitewater Ski Resort, British Columbia – this event is at the powder mecca of the Kootenays and just a hop to the Kootenay hub of Nelson.
Whitewater Ski Resort’s terrain combined with the Selkirk’s legendary snow, provide fantastic opportunities for all levels to ski, learn, share, compete, and celebrate on-area and backcountry pursuits.
