Kootenay Carshare getting bigger and better

The Kootenay Carshare Coopeartive is really on a roll.

The coopeartive has reached over 300 members and continues to expand to new areas with Rossland coming on in 2014.  

October is membership drive month and KCC is offering free orientation for all of our branches ($25 value). 

Membership rates include gas, insurance and maintenance your transportation budget becomes more predictable. 

The average vehicle owner spends $1,000/month on transportation while Carshare members spend $100 on average! 

That is $900 savings per month. Check out the website for more information.

Most of our branches are able to offer a variety of cars, trucks, vans and SUV’s to meet member’s needs and a Smart Car Convertible has been added to the Nelson fleet.

Kootenay Carshare operates in Nelson, Revelstoke, Kaslo, Kimberely, Fernie and Rossland.  As a member of a cooperative you have a say in what happens in the organization. 

Branches often offer social opportunities to meet other members and foster a community of sharing.
