Ever wonder what makes the Kootenay Carshare Cooperative so great?

The answer is simple, its members. And what better way to celebrate its growing Kaslo membership than with a community potluck.

On Saturday, Nov. 19 the Carshare board, staff and community coordinators from Revelstoke, Kimberley, Nelson, Fernie and Kaslo will be in town for the second annual Carshare Summit.

The Carshare will be hosting a lunchtime potluck from 12-2 pm at 607 Kane St. for the community. Bring a dish to share and your own cutlery.

This is a great opportunity for interested people to talk to existing members and learn how the Kootenay Carshare Cooperative can save you money, reduce stress in your life and build community.

The Kaslo branch has been growing strong starting with just three members and now boasting 14 members sharing a Subaru 4×4 wagon and a Ford Ranger 4×4 truck.

Visit their website at www.carsharecoop.ca for more info or contact the office at 250-352-2033 for event details.
