Film Deep Green, complete with panel discussion, set for April 23 at Civic Theatre

The West Kootenay Eco Society is tossing out the invitation to the public to the Earth-day inspired screening of the uplifting and energizing film Deep Green, at the Civic Theatre on (Wednesday) April 23.

The film focuses on practical steps that we can all take to help prevent climate chaos. A panel discussion of local experts follows the showing of the film.

Co-sponsors of the event are Nelson Hydro and Eco-Save.

Tickets are just $5 with proceeds going to EcoSociety’s new regional climate initiatives. 

Panelists for the evening include: David Lovekin of Pembina Institute; Fiona Galbraith or Alex Love from the Nelson Hydro; and Zero-Waste consultant, Michael Jessen,

David Reid of the West Kootenay Eco Society will moderate the panel discussion.
