End of School Street Party at Nelson Youth Centre

School’s out and summer’s here!
Thursday (June 30th) the Nelson and District Youth Centre will be hosting a street party in front of their Lake Street building.
This is a free event that will feature beats by acclaimed DJs Dubconscious and Fluxo, the live and uplifting music of Mushana Marimba Band, a bouncy castle, fair food, hula hooping, water toys to beat the heat, a breakdancing cypher, skateboarding and much more!
The festivities will kick off at 3-8 p.m.
Community members are invited to come down and take part in the activities, meet the NDYC staff, explore the Centre’s facilities and programming and give input into some of the changes on the horizon for the Youth Centre.
