Watching the Light is a collection of poems and photographs about the play of light and how it falls on all things.

“These poems are about the enchantment of light throughout the seasons” says Cunningham.

“How it falls on me, giving me the vision with which I see the world. Hold these poems and pictures up to the light. See what I have seen”.

Cunningham has a Master’s degree in Expressive Arts Therapy. She is an art and music teacher, photographer and writer. She enjoys hiking and snowshoeing in the beautiful Kootenays and spending time with her grandchildren.

Her first book of poetry, A Fragile Grace, was published in 2018 by Ekstasis Editions.
