Opening night for 2017 ArtWalk is Friday June 23rd.
So for visual artist wanting to have an opening night complete with music, dancing and crowds of people admiring your talent and skill, then ArtWalk is for you.
Let the Nelson District Arts Council do all the heavy lifting. If this is your first show we take care of the promotion, securing the perfect space and filling the ‘seats’ with all kinds of art lovers. If you are an ArtWalk regular, you know how easy the ArtWalk Coordinator makes your job.
The support you are given as a participating artist is just one of the reasons you come back again and again to the ArtWalk experience.
If you are a venue this is the perfect way to get people in your door that might not normally pass your way. Not only are you supporting local artists by showing their work but you are showing off your space and products.
ArtWalk is in its 29th year, with a wonderful reputation of having top quality artists in wonderful local venues. One of the best nights of the summer… fun, family, culture and beauty.
An event that draws an audience of over 8000 and promotes the arts locally, regionally and provincially.
