Constable Kristen Young joins Nelson Police Department

The Nelson Police Department announced that Constable Kristen Young became police constable #93 on September 7, 2021.
Nelson Police said Constable Young joins the department after serving the past three years with the Toronto Police Service.
“When not policing, Kristen enjoys being outdoors and playing hockey,” the Nelson Police Department media release said.
“Kristen looks forward to policing in a smaller community and getting to know the beautiful city of Nelson.”
“The City of Nelson, the Nelson Police Board and the men and women of the Nelson Police Department are proud to welcome Kristen to the NPD family,” the media release added.
